Monster Mash

When it comes to classic horror, the monster movie has become near-synonymous with Universal Pictures, whose creatures have been stomping onto screens to threaten the status quo since 1913. With a selection of films spanning the studio's wildly successful run in 1930s to its introduction of new, original monsters in the 1940s and 1950s, this series holds a mirror up to the enduring fears of otherness that animate the genre.
